It is made from fresh coconut shreds, mixed with water or hot milk and then squeezed. This coconut milk is indispensable in Asian cuisine.
The grated pulp - the coconut flakes or coconut flakes - can be used to exotically bread fish, meat and vegetables. Grated coconut flakes roasted in butter are a particularly delicate garnish.
